ChatGPT Pro and Business add monthly OpenAI API credits

On 29 Oct 2026, OpenAI: ChatGPT Pro now includes monthly OpenAI API credits: $100 on Pro 100, $200 on Pro 200 and $500 on Pro 500. Business gets $20 per paid Standard seat plus $100 per paid Premium seat, pooled and capped at $500 a month per workspace ($6,000 a year if billed annually). To claim, the subscription or workspace owner links an API organization they own; the subscription must be paid and at least 7 days old. The first grant is prorated, and unused credits expire each billing cycle (no rollover). The credits cover OpenAI API usage, not Codex through API keys, and they do not change ChatGPT or Codex plan limits. Plus, Free, Go, free trials, Enterprise, Edu and legacy Codex seats are not eligible.
