OpenAI doubles ChatGPT Pro and Business Premium limits; Pro 200 cut cancelled

On 30 Oct 2026, OpenAI: Codex Day 25 (30 Oct 2026, SGT; 29 Oct US): OpenAI doubled usage limits for Pro 100, Pro 200 and Pro 500 and for Business Premium seats, effective 29 Oct US time, and cancelled the planned Pro 200 cut (due 30 Oct), so Pro 200 Work and Codex usage stays the same. OpenAI's Help Center says Pro 100 and Pro 500 now include twice their previous Work and Codex allowance, Pro 200 subscribers on the lower allowance had it doubled to match the higher one, and Plus usage is unchanged. Asked whether Pro 500 now gets 50x usage, OpenAI's Codex lead replied 'Yes'. Extended limits for dots continue for now, and dot usage stays separate from default usage. No end date was given. Day 25 changes limits and does not add to the program's count of 12 resets.
