When Kiro credits reset

Kiro’s pricing FAQ, checked 31 Oct 2026: “Usage limits reset at the start of each billing month. Unused credits do not roll over.” Add-on credits are separate: unused add-on credits roll over month to month until they are used or reach their 12-month expiry, and the earliest-expiring pack is used first (kiro.dev/docs/billing/add-on-credits). On Free, once the credits run out you wait for next month’s reset.

Coming up

Coming up, : From 1 Nov 2026, a first-time upgrade to Kiro Pro makes the rest of that month free, plus 500 trial credits that expire after 12 months (used after plan credits). Plan fees and credits are prorated to the second. Starting on Pro+, Pro Max or Power pays the difference over prorated Pro. It replaces the $20 discount; upgrades before 1 Nov keep it. FAQ

Do unused Kiro credits roll over?

Plan credits do not: Kiro says usage limits reset at the start of each billing month and unused credits do not roll over. Add-on credits do roll over month to month until they are used or expire 12 months after purchase.

How much does an extra Kiro credit cost?

$0.04 on every paid plan, bought as prepaid add-on packs from $5 (125 credits) to $100, up to 5 packs. Free cannot buy add-on credits. Enterprise teams can opt in to month-end overage at $0.04 a credit instead.

Which Kiro plan is the best value per credit?

By the published prices and credit counts, every paid plan works out at $20 per 1,000 credits ($0.02 a credit); add-on credits are $0.04. That is PlanYield arithmetic, not a Kiro figure, and it says nothing about how long the credits last in real use.

What is changing on Kiro soon?

From 1 Nov 2026, a first-time upgrade to Kiro Pro makes the rest of that month free, plus 500 trial credits that expire after 12 months (used after plan credits). Plan fees and credits are prorated to the second. Starting on Pro+, Pro Max or Power pays the difference over prorated Pro. It replaces the $20 discount; upgrades before 1 Nov keep it.

Are community usage numbers included for Kiro plans?

Not yet. As of 31 Oct 2026, no Kiro plan has 5 moderated usage reports, so the page shows the published limits only.
